EURASTiP second Brokerage Event

The H2020 project EURASTiP is pleased to invite you to

the second EURASTiP Brokerage Event:

The Vietnam-Thailand Trade Mission that takes place from 26 August 2019 – 5 September 2019

This trade mission will take you on site visits to companies along the aquaculture value chain within the Mekong Delta (Vietnam) and Chachoengsao & Chanthaburi (Thailand), as well as a to two EURASTiP brokerage sessions: in Vietnam on August 30 in conjunction to Vietfish and in Thailand on September 2nd.

In addition, the event offers the opportunity to discuss and meet with an invited delegation of aquaculture stakeholders from Bangladesh.

All stakeholders within the European Aquaculture Industry are welcome to join. Funding for travel and subsistence costs will be available for a selection of participants (conditions apply).

Extra call for the EURASTiP Exchange Programme

Due to the popularity and high uptake of our successful funded exchange programme, additional funding has been identified for an extra round.

 

Maximise existing and new collaborations and strategic partnerships between Europe and south-east Asia in the aquaculture sector with the EURASTiP Exchange Programme. Opportunities are available for industry, researchers and educators from both regions to connect and gain new perspectives while sharing innovative ideas to help develop long term partnerships. Bursaries of up to 3000 Euro are available per exchange (subject to eligibility criteria) to support international innovation and collaboration.

Unique chance to meet Vietnamese shrimp producers at EURASTIP brokerage event in Brussels

EURASTiP is calling upon all stakeholders interested in Vietnamese shrimp production to attend a unique brokerage event connecting you directly with Vietnamese shrimp stakeholders, including enterprises, as well as policy makers focused on trade promotion:

  • Are you an EU shrimp import and trade enterprise/association and interested in getting to know more about the practical status of Vietnam shrimp production, including enhanced traceability of shrimp products?
  • Are you an NGO stakeholder interested in sustainable shrimp development in Vietnam?
  • Are you involved in a development project between EU and Vietnam aquaculture stakeholders and eager to improve linkages to support global sustainable aquaculture development?
  • Are you a stakeholder who is interested in promoting trade relations between Vietnam and EU to ensure the effectiveness of EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA)?

If so, then attend the EU-Vietnam dialogue for sustainable development of shrimp production and trade taking place in Brussels this November. This networking & brokerage event focuses on identifying and developing business opportunities between European and south-east Asian shrimp companies.
