EATiP Mirror Platforms (MiPs) are industry-driven multi-stakeholder aquaculture clusters, supporting the implementation of strategic research and innovation activities at a regional/national level. They are important facilitators to gather knowledge on consensus opinions and priorities of the stakeholder communities in their regions/countries.

The Flemish Aquaculture platform brings together all stakeholders of the Flemish aquaculture sector, by organising events for networking and knowledge exchange.

AQUIMER is an innovation cluster with 20 years of experience in the sector of fishery, aquaculture and the valorisation of aquatic products. With its 156 members, it gathers complementary experts from the sector.

In 2006 Danish companies, institutions, fish farmers, public authorities, organisations and individuals founded the Knowledge Cluster, AquaCircle, to enhance the use of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems.

ACUIPLUS is a meeting point for aquaculture’s value chain stakeholders so a SUSTAINABLE aquaculture is achieved through collaboration on knowledge management, and so innovation and competitiviness.

B2E CoLAB is a private nonprofit organization that brings added value to the economy and society. In the area of the blue bioeconomy – aquaculture, marine biotechnology, and living marine resources – B2E CoLAB operates in various fields, such as cooperation and collaboration with associates (research centres, universities, companies, and technological interfaces) and national and international stakeholders, advising producers and entrepreneurs on finding and obtaining financial support, development of market strategies and analysis, protection, and enhancement of knowledge, promotion, and communication.

The innovation cluster “Bioeconomy at Marine Sites” with its 79 partners from research, industry and public administration strives to develop new and sustainable concepts for a comprehensive circular economy, including fish, mussels and algae, among other things in Northern Germany.

The CETGA is a private Aquaculture Technology Centre belonging to the most important aquaculture companies in Spain. This is a non-profit business association.

CETGA emerges as an initiative to promote the development of companies engaged in aquaculture activities and support the consolidation of this sector within the European business.

The Hellenic Technology Platform for Aquaculture (HE.TE.P.A) is an industry led initiative within the context of the European Technology Platforms aiming to become a key player in driving innovation, knowledge transfer and competitiveness to the aquaculture industry in Greece.

Stiim Aqua Cluster represents a complete ecosystem for aquaculture innovation. The cluster is located on the south-western coast of Norway.

EATiP MiPs have a strong mobilisation role, assuring:

  • industry-focused strategic research and innovation agendas, roadmaps and implementation plans, for application at national, regional or European levels
  • Industry and research participation in the EU Framework Programmes for research and innovation, and cooperation with networks in other European States;
  • identification of needs and opportunities for international cooperation;
  • external advice for the programming and implementation of EU Framework Programmes
